THERE WAS    —  THERE WERE

There was / were es la forma  impersonal del verbo To Be ( Ser / Estar ). Tiempo pasado.

Utilizamos There was en singular y There were en plural.

Ejemplos.

Hubo  un  concierto en mi ciudad hace dos dias.

There was a concert in my town  two days ago.

 

No había hamburguesas de queso  cuando fuimos al restaurante.

There weren´t  any  cheese  burguers 🍔 when we went to the restaurant.
